George’s Notebooks offers custom-printed books and related products. Orders are processed using Stripe for payment handling, and Lulu’s API is used for printing and shipping the products directly to customers. By placing an order, you agree to provide accurate information and abide by these Terms.

2. Use of the Website

You may use the website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the site in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or interfere with its proper working.

• Use any manual or automated system to access, scrape, or monitor any part of the website without our prior written consent.

3. Product Orders

When you place an order on our website, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information. We reserve the right to cancel your order if we suspect that the information provided is incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent.

• Product Availability: All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products without prior notice.

• Order Acceptance: Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. This does not signify our acceptance of your order but simply acknowledges receipt. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order at any time.

• Order Fulfillment: Orders are fulfilled using third-party services such as Lulu, who handle the printing and shipping of the product. We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by the third-party service.

4. Payment Terms

All payments are processed through Stripe. By placing an order, you agree to pay the total amount as specified during checkout. Stripe’s terms and conditions will apply to all payment transactions.

• Currency: All prices listed on the site are in GBP (£), unless stated otherwise.

• Payment Disputes: If you believe there has been an error with your payment, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the transaction.

5. Shipping and Delivery

George’s Notebooks uses Lulu’s API to print and deliver products. The estimated delivery time provided during checkout is an approximation and not a guarantee.

• Shipping Locations: We currently ship to the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.

• Delivery Responsibility: Once the product is shipped, it is the responsibility of the shipping provider (e.g., Lulu) to ensure delivery. We are not liable for any delays, damage, or non-delivery of items once they are in transit.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Due to the custom nature of our products, we cannot offer refunds or returns unless the product is defective or damaged.

• Defective or Damaged Products: If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of receiving the item. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the defective product. We will work with Lulu to arrange a reprint or replacement.

• Order Cancellations: Orders cannot be canceled once printing has begun.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of George’s Notebooks or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any of our content without express written permission.

• Any unauthorised use of our content may result in legal action.
